Master of Public Health

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and leadership needed to address complex health challenges at a population level. This program covers key areas such as epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, environmental and occupational health, global health, health promotion, and disease prevention. Students learn to analyse public health data, design and evaluate health interventions, and implement strategies to improve health outcomes in communities worldwide.

The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience through fieldwork, research projects, and case studies. Students gain hands-on experience in public health research, health program planning, and evaluation techniques, along with developing communication, leadership, and policy advocacy skills. The program also emphasizes ethical considerations, cultural competence, and interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing health issues.

Graduates are prepared for careers in public health research, epidemiology, health policy, global health organisations, non-governmental organisations, healthcare consultancy, and government health agencies. The MPH also provides a strong foundation for doctoral studies or advanced research roles in public health and related fields.
