BSc (Hons) Health and Care Management (Top-Up)

The BSc (Hons) Health and Care Management (Top-Up) program is designed for students who have already completed a relevant foundation or diploma program and wish to progress to an honours-level degree. This course equips students with advanced knowledge and management skills required to lead and manage health and social care services effectively. It combines theoretical understanding with practical application, preparing graduates to deliver high-quality care and improve organisational performance in the healthcare sector.

The curriculum covers key areas such as health and social care policy, leadership and management in healthcare, service delivery, quality improvement, ethics, and research in health and social care. Students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills through case studies, projects, and research assignments. The program also emphasizes the application of evidence-based practice and strategic management techniques in health and care settings.

Graduates are prepared for management and leadership roles in healthcare organisations, social care services, policy development, and consultancy. The degree also provides a pathway for further postgraduate study in health and social care management, public health, or related fields.
