INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS
Olds College is a Designated Learning Institute. We offer programs that are eligible to be considered for the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program. Students are encouraged to refer to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada website for further details.
English Language Proficiency
The language of instruction at Olds College is English.
Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate that they have completed at least three years of academic study conducted entirely in English.
Applicants who do not meet this requirement must demonstrate language proficiency through successful completion of an accepted English Language proficiency assessment dated within two years of application submission.
All English Language Proficiency Assessments will be verified online by an Admission Officer.
Master Spinner Certificate
What can you expect from this program/course?
The Master Spinner Program consists of six progressive levels of classroom and independent study involving skill development, research studies and project assignments in the area of hand spinning of all major types of fibers, yarns and the end use of the spun yarns. At all levels, students are evaluated on the basis of written assignments, practical projects, oral presentations and skill development.

Please note students are eligible to enroll in the next level of Master Spinner even if their work from the previous year's level has not been submitted yet. Homework for the higher level will not be marked or grades awarded if the previous level was not successfully completed.
