Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Business Analytics { New York Institute Of Technology (NYIT) - New York Tech Vancouver }
Overview
Business analysts and data analysts/scientists are among the most sought-after positions in the job market. Our MBA with Business Analytics concentration gives you the skills you'll need to analyze and implement data-driven business processes, form business inferences and predictions from data, and make optimal and robust business decisions. Our program offers training on statistical analysis, data visualization, database management, machine learning, and social network analytics applications in different business functional areas including marketing, finance, accounting, operations, supply chain, and human resources. You'll become familiar with business analytics tools such as Python programming, SQL, and Tableau, using them with real-world business case studies from different business disciplines to determine which dataset is most useful and how it can be leveraged to solve business problems and increase productivity, efficiency, and revenue.
Admission Requirements
- Four (4)–year Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. In exceptional circumstances, applicants with an overall GPA between 2.75 - 2.99 (on a 4.0 scale) may be eligible to apply if they have a minimum of 2 years’ work experience with proof of employment to be submitted by the employer. These applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Proof of English proficiency if you have not completed your bachelor’s degree from an accredited North American institution. Minimum overall score of IELTS (Academic and Online) 6.5 or 88 TOEFL (IBT and Home edition) and 58 PTE (Academic).
Application Process
All New York Tech Vancouver applications are done online and require a non-refundable $50 USD application fee. In addition, you will also be asked to upload the following documents:
- Completed online application
- A copy of your passport (valid passport only, expired passport will not be accepted).
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT/Home Edition, PTE).
- GMAT score if your overall GPA is less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Bachelor's Degree completion certificate.
- Semester-by-semester transcripts for all four years of your bachelor’s degree.
- 1-2 pages of a Resume or a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Statement of Purpose(recommended)
- Any transcripts or certificates received beyond your bachelor’s degree program.
