What is CAQ ?
The Certificat d'acceptation du Québec (CAQ) is a mandatory immigration document for all international students who are applying in the Quebec province of Canada. A CAQ, issued by the Government of Quebec
After applying, you should continue to monitor the information on your CAQ online portal to verify if any updates have been made in your file. Under normal circumstances, the standard processing time for the CAQ is 20 business days from the day Immigration Quebec confirms in your online portal that they have received your supporting documents. However, the processing times for the CAQ may be longer.
What is required to apply CAQ?
To fill out the CAQ online, you need a computer, a working email address, and a credit card to pay the fees. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards are accepted.
Required documents for your application
You must submit the required documents for your application for temporary selection for studies:
- A photocopy of the identity pages of your passport;
- A letter of admission (LOA) from your educational institution in Québec;
Stage 1:- Apply CAQ Letter for Quebec Students
Below are the steps to apply for CAQ:-
1) Fill out the CAQ application Form from the below link, the CAQ fee is $124 CAD.

2) You will receive two forms after completing the form and making the payment...CAQ application form and Declaration form
