Clinical Placements
Your practicum schedule will include full-time work during the clinical placement, with varying shifts (day, evening, or night). You will need to provide your own transportation to the clinical facility.

Instructor-led placement (NPRT 1001): A four-week rotation in the Edmonton area.

Preceptored placements (NPRT 2006 & NPRT 2007): May be arranged locally or within your community, with flexible shift options (days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays).
- Academic Requirement: Diploma or degree in a healthcare field from an accredited institution outside of Canada
- ELP Requirement: IELTS Academic: no score below 7.5 in listening, 7 in speaking, 6.5 in reading, 7 in writing TOEFL iBT: 94 Duolingo: 110
- Tuition deposits are non-refundable if you withdraw within 30 days of your program start date and non-transferable in all cases.
- 30+ days before the program starts → Full refund minus half of the tuition deposit (i.e $500 deduction)
- Within 30 days of the program start → Full refund minus full tuition deposit ($1000 deduction) and U-Pass fee (if applicable).
