The Social Work Diploma program at NorQuest College prepares compassionate, socially conscious individuals to become professional helpers and advocates for positive change.   • Academic Requirement: 60% in English Language Arts 30-1
  • ELP Requirement: IELTS Academic: 6.5 (6.0), TOEFL iBT: 84 (21), PTE Academic: 59 (56), Duolingo: 115
  • Special Requirement: You must have worked the 100 hours within the last five years of the start date of your program with one organization. We do not offer conditional admission for the volunteer/work requirement, so you must complete the 100 hours before you receive an offer of admission. Your direct volunteer or employment supervisor must complete the Social Work Reference Form with the information, 1) supervisor's title, signature, and contact information, 2) your role/job title when you worked or volunteered, 3) total number of hours worked or volunteered, 4) a detailed description of the nature of the work you performed, your work/volunteer responsibilities and the level of interaction you had with clients, their families, and/or the general public. Your supervisor must email the reference to admissions@norquest.ca as a PDF attachment. The form link is given on the website of the Norquest college. Refund Policy
  • Tuition deposits are non-refundable if you withdraw within 30 days of your program start date and non-transferable in all cases.
  • 30+ days before the program starts → Full refund minus half of the tuition deposit (i.e $500 deduction)
  • Within 30 days of the program start → Full refund minus full tuition deposit ($1000 deduction) and U-Pass fee (if applicable).
  • Study permit denied (before the program starts) → Refund minus 25% of the tuition deposit ($250 deduction)
