Program Highlights: What You’ll Learn

Early childhood educators are vital in fostering healthy family relationships and promoting children’s development. Research shows that the early years are critical for a child’s growth and success.

In this program, you will explore the power of play-based learning, a core element in Canadian early childhood education frameworks. Courses emphasize child development, family-centered care, and inclusive learning environments that reflect the latest best practices across Canada.

Real-World Experience: Graduate Career-Ready

At NorQuest College, practical experience is a key part of your education.

You’ll complete 800 hours of hands-on learning through four practicum placements in licensed early learning and child care settings. These experiences will build your confidence, strengthen your skills, and prepare you to succeed as a certified Early Childhood Educator.
