1. Accounting Advanced Diploma

Develop a deeper knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and make yourself an attractive prospect for any business or accounting firm.

Work towards your completion of the prerequisites for the Chartered Professional Accountants Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) accounting designation administered by the Chartered Professional Accountants. Help organizations and individuals manage their finances and plan for their future.

This career path takes your interest in the business world and combines it with your excellent communication skills, ability to convey complex ideas in a simple manner, and desire to uphold ethics. Learn everything from financial accounting to statistics to taxation. Develop skills in advanced financial reporting, auditing, and business law. Higher-level courses enhance critical thinking skills and Indigenous-focused content provides perspective on Indigenous issues within a business context.

 

2. Finance Advanced Diploma

In this program, learners will gain the knowledge and develop the skills they need to become the go-to solution provider for clients looking for financial advice.

Learners will explore Financial Planning, Personal and Corporate Finance, Canadian Investment Funds as well as Taxation and professional selling.  Students will learn how to hone their research and analytical skills and put them to good use by matching up the right opportunities for the right clientele. This program also includes higher-level courses designed to enhance critical thinking skills and Indigenous-focused content provides perspective on Indigenous issues within a Canadian business context.            

Industry exams are written as part of the program curriculum. Upon successful completion, learners will be licensed to sell mutual funds in Canada.  Additionally, learners will obtain credit from the Investment Funds Institute of Canada for financial planning by registering directly with the organization.

 

3. Marketing Advanced Diploma 

Layer your previous post-secondary credential with an advanced diploma in one of the most creative and fast-paced fields in business. Increase your business acumen with a specialization in marketing. Become more desirable to employers with this fast-tracked, focused advanced diploma that will give you the skills needed for industries such as media, public relations, communications, event planning, and advertising.

In our ever-connected and global world, learn about international marketing, strategic planning, social media, and consumer behavior. Enhance your critical thinking through higher-level courses and Indigenous-focused content that provides perspective on Indigenous issues within a business context.

Experience real-world application by working with industry and community leaders. Develop skills in areas such as research, preparing communications materials, developing and implementing strategies, organizing interviews and press conferences, and coordinating events.

 

4. E-commerce professional International

The e-Commerce Professional program will provide learners with a deep understanding of business operations, online sales strategies and is able to use various platforms to conduct digital sales or conversions on a website.

Learners will be exposed to a number of ways to gather and analyze data using web and social media tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio, Search Console, Trends, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter and Instagram Business Manager.

This program will also provide learners with an overview of the current e-commerce landscape and examine platforms such as Shopify, Infusionsoft, WooCommerce, PayPal, WePay, and Stripe.

5. Logistics and Supply Chain management 

Global supply chain activities are projected to continue their rapid growth. As a result, there are more opportunities than ever before for professionals who are trained for effective logistics and supply chain management.

In the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program, you will be prepared to:

  • Understand the key components of supply management including demand forecasting, inventory management, resource planning, lean thinking, and Six Sigma management philosophies
  • Gain an overview of Canadian business and learn the fundamentals of the Canadian economic system including understanding supply and demand, elasticity, and monopoly
  • Be introduced to the many dimensions of business logistics with an emphasis on physical distribution and transportation of raw materials, inputs, and finished products
  • Understand the operations and structure of different modes of transportation including rail, water, air and highway
  • Gain an understanding of operations management and how to carry out the transformation of resources into products and services efficiently
  • Learn purchasing fundamentals with an emphasis on strategic cost management in the face of the recent economic recession
  • Learn project management principles from planning to execution of projects, the roles of the project team and project manager as well as the use of IT systems in project management

 

6. Advanced Human Resources Diploma Program

Increase your employability with a specialized credential in human resource management. Build on your existing post-secondary education with this fast-tracked, focused advanced diploma that will prepare you to work in an HR department.
