Program Description:

The Preparing and Finishing Concrete program aims to train students to set up, finish and protect cement surfaces. Concrete workers work with a variety of types of surfaces and vertical and horizontal structures, such as, floors, walls, sidewalks, pavements, curbs, stairways, dams, bridges and concrete tunnels. Furthermore, concrete workers apply texture, chisel, grind, and cure finished concrete and repair and restore damamged concrete. Cement workors apply different finishes to concrete surfaces such as architectural, motifs, stamps, swept or smooth finishes, as well as applying color to concrete. Cement workers install waterproof membranes to cement surfaces as well as other waterproofing products.
