With 5 campuses located on the South Shore of Montreal, ACCESS has been a resource for the Riverside School Board community for over 40 years, empowering individuals who are 16 and older in their ongoing quest for academic and professional success. Program objectives To acquire the knowledge, ability and attitudes necessary upon entering the workforce to correctly and successfully complete the tasks and activities necessary for the masonry and bricklaying trade, such as; sizing, cutting, installing with mortar, cement or other adhesive, as well as finishing joints with the following materials: different types of bricks, stone, blocks, refractory materials, prefabricated architectural cement as well as installing rigid insulation and welding anchors. In order to better prepare students for the Québec workforce, the content of this program is given in both English and French! To be eligible for admission to this program, candidates must meet one of the following requirements: Persons holding a Secondary School Diploma or its recognized equivalent, for example, an Attestation of Equivalence of Secondary V studies, or a postsecondary diploma such as the Diploma of College Studies or a Bachelor’s degree
