The Heavy Equipment & Truck & Transport Technician Certificate program provides 8 months of specialized training in two high-demand mechanical trades. This program equips students with the foundational skills necessary to work in the heavy equipment and truck & transport industries.
As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you'll learn to work on large mobile equipment used in industries like construction, mining, forestry, and more. You’ll be trained to service equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, graders, loaders, and earthmovers.
As a Truck & Transport Technician, you'll acquire expertise in maintaining and repairing trucks, buses, and highway transport vehicles for companies in transportation, dealerships, garages, and more.
Trade Time & Academic Credit: Expand Your Opportunities
Graduates of the program may be eligible for trade time and academic credit if they find employment in the industry and register as apprentices.
