Practical Nursing (pnd)

The Practical Nursing (PND) program at Seneca Polytechnic prepares students to become Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) through a combination of classroom instruction, simulation-based learning, laboratory training, and extensive clinical placements. Students develop strong foundations in nursing theory, anatomy, physiology, patient care, health assessment, pharmacology, and professional nursing practice. Clinical experiences in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community healthcare settings provide valuable hands-on experience. Graduates are eligible to write the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE) and apply for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
