The Honours Bachelor of Information Technology Design and Management (BDM) is a four-year degree program designed to prepare students for leadership and technical roles in modern information technology environments. The program combines advanced IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, systems administration and cybersecurity concepts with business management and leadership skills.
Students gain practical experience through specialized technology labs featuring enterprise-level technologies from Cisco, HPE Aruba, Microsoft Azure and Linux-based environments. The curriculum focuses on designing, implementing and managing technology solutions while developing communication, project management and strategic decision-making skills required in today's digital organizations.
A mandatory co-op work term provides valuable industry experience and allows students to apply classroom learning in professional IT environments. Graduates are prepared to manage technology infrastructure, support digital transformation initiatives and bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
