Honours Bachelor Of Behavioural Psychology

The Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology (BBP) program at Seneca Polytechnic is Canada's first four-year undergraduate honours degree dedicated to Behavioural Psychology and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). The program provides comprehensive training in understanding human behaviour through a biopsychosocial framework while emphasizing evidence-based assessment and intervention practices.

Students develop advanced knowledge in behavioural psychology, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, mental health, addictions, rehabilitation counselling and behavioural support services. Through classroom learning, research opportunities, laboratory experiences and applied fieldwork, students gain practical skills needed to work with diverse populations across the lifespan.

The program includes a mandatory work term and prepares graduates for careers in behavioural health, community services, mental health support, youth services and rehabilitation settings. Graduates are also positioned for further studies leading toward professional registration and advanced behavioural psychology careers.
