Fashion Arts

The Fashion Arts advanced diploma program at Seneca Polytechnic prepares students for creative and technical careers in the global fashion industry. Students develop expertise in fashion design, garment construction, pattern making, textiles, technical design, trend forecasting and digital fashion technologies.

The program combines artistic creativity with industry-focused technical training, allowing students to explore various fashion categories including streetwear, evening wear, couture, outerwear and contemporary fashion design. Students gain hands-on experience using industry-standard software, 3D design tools and professional garment construction techniques.

A mandatory field placement provides valuable industry experience, while the final graduating collection allows students to showcase their design abilities to industry professionals. Graduates are prepared for careers in fashion design, product development, technical design, production, textiles, merchandising and costume design.
