Delivery Options:

In-person: Complete all your classes and labs on campus as a full-time student in two years. Available for students who start in the fall.

Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA) Membership
This program meets the requirements for supporting membership with the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA). If you wish to pursue professional membership with ATRA, you’ll need to have a degree in therapeutic recreation. Graduates of this program are eligible for this membership.
For further information, therapeutic recreation professionals can take additional courses through Open Studies to meet ATRA’s standards. If interested, you can reach out to ATRA or the program chair for more details.

- Academic Requirement: 50% in English Language Arts 30-1, 70% in English Language Arts 30-2, 50% in Biology 30
- ELP Requirement: IELTS Academic: 6.5; no section score below 6, PTE Academic: 59; no section score below 56, TOEFL iBT: 84; no section score below 21, Duolingo: 115
- Tuition deposits are non-refundable if you withdraw within 30 days of your program start date and non-transferable in all cases.
- 30+ days before the program starts → Full refund minus half of the tuition deposit (i.e $500 deduction)
- Within 30 days of the program start → Full refund minus full tuition deposit ($1000 deduction) and U-Pass fee (if applicable).
