NorQuest College’s Settlement Studies diploma program is designed for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of newcomers to Canada. This two-year diploma program will teach you how to help immigrants and refugees integrate into their communities, advocate for their rights, and access vital services.
What You Can Expect from the Program
In this program, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge needed to assist newcomers in Canada with essential services such as housing, education, employment, transportation, and healthcare. You will learn to:

- Academic Requirement: 60% in English Language Arts 30-1, 60% in English Language Arts 30-2
- ELP Requirement: IELTS Academic: 6.5; no section score below 6, PTE Academic: 59; no section score below 56, TOEFL iBT: 84: no section score below 21, Duolingo: 115
- Tuition deposits are non-refundable if you withdraw within 30 days of your program start date and non-transferable in all cases.
- 30+ days before the program starts → Full refund minus half of the tuition deposit (i.e $500 deduction)
