Clinical Placements Close to Home
Our clinical placements ensure that students in rural areas have access to real-world experience without needing to travel far. You’ll work full-time during the practicum and provide your own transportation to the facility.

Clinical shifts are Monday to Friday, with both day (6:30 am to 2:30 pm) and evening (2:30 pm to 10:30 pm) schedules.

Mobile Castor Lab: 12-hour weekend shifts (6:30 am to 6:30 pm).

Comprehensive Clinical: An eight-week, in-depth placement that may include weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays.
Hands-On Training and Simulation
Our Olson Centre for Health Simulation provides you with hands-on training using high-fidelity mannequins, standardized patients, and virtual reality tools to prepare you for the demands of the healthcare field.

Graduate with Valuable Work Experience
You’ll graduate with 680 hours of practical work experience from four clinical practicums. These placements are crucial to building the skills necessary for success in the nursing field.
- Academic Requirement: 60% in English Language Arts 30-1 60% in Mathematics 20-1 60% in Biology 30
- ELP Requirement: IELTS Academic: no score below 7.5 in listening, 7 in speaking, 6.5 in reading, and 7.0 in writing. TOEFL iBT: 94
- Tuition deposits are non-refundable if you withdraw within 30 days of your program start date and non-transferable in all cases.
- 30+ days before the program starts → Full refund minus half of the tuition deposit (i.e $500 deduction)
- Within 30 days of the program start → Full refund minus full tuition deposit ($1000 deduction) and U-Pass fee (if applicable).
- Study permit denied (before the program starts) → Refund minus 25% of the tuition deposit ($250 deduction)
