The Marketing Diploma at Douglas College provides students with a strong foundation in business and specialized expertise in modern marketing practices. Through lectures, case studies, marketing simulations, research projects, and practical learning experiences, students develop skills in marketing strategy, customer relations, sales, advertising, marketing research, and business management. The program offers optional Co-operative Education and Business Internship opportunities, allowing students to gain valuable workplace experience while studying. Program Requirements
  • Academic Requirement: General College Admission Requirements. Foundations of Math 11 with minimum grade C is recommended as some courses have mathematics prerequisites.
  • ELP Requirement: IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0 or equivalent Douglas College accepted test scores.
  • Special Requirement: Students must maintain a minimum program GPA of 2.0. Students interested in Co-op or Internship opportunities should contact the Career Centre early in their studies.
