Management

The Management Diploma at Douglas College prepares students for leadership and management careers by developing strong business, communication, accounting, marketing, human resources, and organizational management skills. Students build a solid foundation in business operations during the first year and advance into specialized management studies in business development, operations, leadership, and human resource management during the second year. The program offers optional Co-operative Education and Business Internship opportunities, allowing students to gain valuable workplace experience while studying. Graduates can pursue management careers across various industries or continue their education through direct transfer pathways into Douglas College's Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management.

Program Requirements
  • Academic Requirement: General College Admission Requirements. Foundations of Math 11 with minimum C grade is recommended as some courses have mathematics prerequisites.
  • ELP Requirement: IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0 or equivalent Douglas College accepted test scores
  • Special Requirement: Students must maintain a minimum program GPA of 2.0. Some courses require Mathematics prerequisites. Optional Co-operative Education and Business Internship opportunities are available.
