The Associate of Science Degree – Biology Specialization at Douglas College is a two-year university transfer program designed for students interested in biological and life sciences. Students gain knowledge in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, genetics, biochemistry, ecology, marine biology, and evolution. The program provides 60 transferable credits and can lead to entry into the third year of a bachelor's degree at participating universities. Students also have the opportunity to participate in an optional paid Co-op program to gain valuable work experience. Graduates are well prepared for further studies and careers in biology, healthcare, environmental science, research, and related fields. This program is PGWP eligible and offers a strong foundation for future academic and professional success.
