The Associate of Arts Degree in Gender, Sexualities & Women's Studies at Douglas College is a two-year university transfer program that explores gender, feminism, sexuality, social justice, diversity, and equality from interdisciplinary perspectives. Students examine the social, cultural, political, and economic factors that shape gender and identity while developing critical thinking, research, communication, and analytical skills. The program provides a strong foundation for careers and further education in social services, education, law, psychology, journalism, community development, and public policy. An optional Co-op opportunity allows students to gain valuable workplace experience before graduation.
