The Advanced Human Resource Management (Post-Baccalaureate Diploma) at Douglas College is a two-year career-focused program designed for graduates who want to build a successful career in Human Resources. The program combines essential business knowledge with advanced HR training in workforce planning, talent management, labour relations, employment law, occupational health and safety, HR metrics, training and performance management. Students can gain practical experience through Business Internship opportunities, Co-operative Education and the Advanced Career Development Program. The curriculum also supports the CPHR BC & Yukon accredited pathway, helping graduates move toward professional HR designation requirements. Graduates are prepared for careers in recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, workforce planning and human resource management.
