Accounting (post-baccalaureate Diploma)
The Accounting (Post-Baccalaureate Diploma) at Douglas College is a two-year post-graduate diploma designed for students who hold a bachelor's degree in a non-business discipline. The program provides comprehensive training in financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, auditing, corporate finance, economics and business analytics. Graduates meet the academic requirements for entry into the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Professional Education Program (PEP) and can pursue careers in accounting, auditing, taxation and financial analysis. Optional co-op opportunities allow students to gain valuable Canadian work experience before graduation.
Program Requirements
- Academic Requirement: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution. Intended for students with non-business/non-commerce backgrounds.
- ELP Requirement: IELTS 6.5 Overall (6.0 in each band) OR PTE Academic 56 Overall OR equivalent Douglas College accepted test.
- Special Requirement: Applicant must hold a bachelor's degree. Program is designed for students from non-business backgrounds. CPA pathway program.
