Accounting And Finance (post-baccalaureate Diploma)

The Accounting and Finance (Post-Baccalaureate Diploma) at Douglas College is a two-year specialized program designed for students who hold a bachelor's degree and wish to develop expertise in both accounting and finance. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in financial planning, financial and managerial accounting, taxation, investing, business law, financial management and data analytics. Students can enhance their learning through optional Co-operative Education, Business Internship, and Advanced Career Development opportunities. Graduates are prepared for careers as financial planners, financial advisors, tax analysts, investment analysts and other finance-related professionals while gaining skills valued across Canada's financial services sector.

Program Requirements
  • Academic Requirement: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent international credential
  • ELP Requirement: IELTS 6.5 Overall (6.0 in each band) OR PTE Academic 56 Overall OR equivalent Douglas College approved test
  • Special Requirement: Intended for students holding a bachelor's degree, particularly those from non-business backgrounds.
