The Academic Foundations for Potential Health Information Management Applicants Certificate at Douglas College is a one-year pathway program designed for students who wish to pursue the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management (BSc HIM). Students complete 30 transferable credits in health sciences, anatomy, physiology, statistics, business, and academic writing while meeting the admission requirements for the BSc HIM program. Successful graduates receive priority consideration for entry into the degree program and gain a strong foundation for careers in health information management and healthcare administration.
