Program Requirements
  • Academic Requirement: A four-year baccalaureate degree from Concordia University of Edmonton or its equivalent from a recognized institution. Individual graduate programs may recommend applicants as qualifying/probationary students (e.g., those with three-year degrees). An admission grade point average (AGPA) of 3.0 (on Concordia University of Edmonton’s 4-point scale) or equivalent on the most recent 60 credits of undergraduate (or graduate) study.
  • ELP Requirement: IELTS: 6.0 (6.0) PTE: 54 TOEFL: 80
Refund Policy

When Fees Are Due
You must pay all fees by the first day of classes

If You Can’t Pay on Time
If you need more time to pay, please contact Student Accounts at +1 780 479 9207 or email studentaccounts@concordia.ab.ca as soon as possible.

Study Permit Denial
If your Canadian study permit application is refused, you can get your deposit back (minus a processing fee). To qualify, submit a copy of the IRCC refusal letter to Admissions by Census Day.

Choosing Not to Attend
If you pay your deposit but later decide not to study at Concordia, the university keeps your deposit in full.

Offer Rescinded or Admission Requirements Not Met
If, after paying your deposit, you fail to meet final admission requirements (based on official transcripts) or your offer is withdrawn for other reasons, you’ll receive a refund of your deposit minus the processing fee.

Withdrawing After Classes Begin
Once you start classes, you must complete the program withdrawal form through Online Services for Students to officially discontinue your studies. You’ll then be eligible for refunds or fee reductions according to the published withdrawal deadlines.
