- Academic Requirement: Appropriate Secondary School Qualification. Graduation from a secondary high school program that would normally make you admissible to a university in your home country. Five program-specific admission subjects with a minimum overall admission average of 60% English Language Arts Four subjects from History, Languages other than English, Fine Arts, Sciences, and/or other subjects. A maximum of two Fine Arts courses and a maximum of one other subject may be used for admission.

When Fees Are Due
You must pay all fees by the first day of classes
If You Can’t Pay on Time
If you need more time to pay, please contact Student Accounts at +1 780 479 9207 or email studentaccounts@concordia.ab.ca as soon as possible.
Study Permit Denial
If your Canadian study permit application is refused, you can get your deposit back (minus a processing fee). To qualify, submit a copy of the IRCC refusal letter to Admissions by Census Day.
Choosing Not to Attend
If you pay your deposit but later decide not to study at Concordia, the university keeps your deposit in full.
Offer Rescinded or Admission Requirements Not Met
If, after paying your deposit, you fail to meet final admission requirements (based on official transcripts) or your offer is withdrawn for other reasons, you’ll receive a refund of your deposit minus the processing fee.
Withdrawing After Classes Begin
Once you start classes, you must complete the program withdrawal form through Online Services for Students to officially discontinue your studies. You’ll then be eligible for refunds or fee reductions according to the published withdrawal deadlines.
