Social Work, MA
Program Requirements
-
Academic:
If you have a Bachelor’s degree in a related subject (such as Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, etc.), you should have at least around 60–65% marks (this is similar to a UK 2:1).
If your Bachelor’s degree is in an unrelated subject, you can still apply if you have strong and relevant experience in social work. This experience can be paid or voluntary, or you may have experience as a caregiver or service user.
If your Bachelor’s degree marks are around 55–59% (similar to a UK 2:2), your application can still be considered. Admission decisions are made by looking at overall profile, including marks, experience, and background—not just percentage.
