Academic:
You must have a Bachelor’s degree with Psychology as a major subject
You should have at least 60–65% marks (this is equal to a UK 2:1)
Your degree must include:
- Research Methods (both quantitative and qualitative)
- A final-year dissertation / research project
BPS Accreditation Requirement (Very Important)
The British Psychological Society (BPS) will check whether your Psychology degree is equivalent to a UK BPS-accredited degree
If your degree is NOT accepted by BPS, then:
You will usually need to complete a BPS-accredited Psychology conversion course (Undergraduate or MSc Psychology)
This course must give you Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC)
Only after getting GBC can you apply for a UK Doctorate in Forensic Psychology
Important advice:
Before applying, you should contact BPS directly to confirm whether your Indian degree is eligible for GBC.

You need a strong Psychology degree with research and dissertation, BPS recognition (GBC), and good IELTS scores to be eligible for this programme.
