Academic:
You need a Bachelor’s degree with Psychology as the main subject
Minimum marks required: around 55–59% (this is equal to a UK 2:2)
Your degree must include:
- Research Methods (both quantitative and qualitative)
- A final-year project / dissertation
BPS Accreditation (Important for Future Studies)
A BPS-accredited degree is NOT required for admission to this course
However, if you plan to apply in the future for a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in the UK, you will usually need:
- A BPS-accredited Psychology degree, OR
- A Psychology conversion course that gives Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC)
If you are planning a doctoral route later, you should check BPS requirements carefully.
International Students (Including India)
International applications are reviewed case by case
- You may be asked to attend an interview
Normally, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree with Psychology as a major, OR
- A Postgraduate degree focused on Psychology
