The Master’s programme in Russian Studies at Vilnius University offers advanced academic training in Russian literature, linguistics, culture, and media analysis. The programme consists of two specialised tracks:

1️⃣ Literature, Linguistics & Culture

This track prepares well-qualified analysts and researchers in Russian literature, culture, and linguistics. Program Requirements
  • Academic Requirement:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (Undergraduate diploma or higher)

    For Non-EU/EFTA applicants:
    • Gap after Bachelor’s degree should not exceed 5 years

    • Verified copies of documents must be sent directly to the university by post
    • Original documents must be presented upon arrival
    • Documents accepted in English or Lithuanian (certified translations required if applicable)

    English (Minimum B2 CEFR)

    Accepted Tests:

    • TOEFL: 500 (paper) / 60+ (iBT)
    • Cambridge English: 173+
    • PTE Academic: 65+
    • LanguageCert IESOL B2
    • Duolingo: 105+

    Russian Language

    • Minimum B2 level (CEFR)

    Exemption may apply as per general admission requirements.
