Bachelor Of Science In General Studies

The Bachelor of Science (BSc) in General Studies at Trinity Western University (TWU) offers a flexible and interdisciplinary approach to higher education, allowing students to explore a broad range of scientific disciplines.   • ELP Requirement: IELTS 6.5 (6.0 in Writing/Reading and 5.5 in Speaking/Listening), PTE: 58 or higher with minimum score of 50 in each band. TOEFL iBT: Overall Score 88 or higher with minimum score of 20 in each band, DUOLINGO: Overall score 120 or higher with minimum score of 105 in Literacy/Comprehension and 95 in Conversation/Production
Refund Policy

If a student changes their plans and decides to withdraw their admission, the refund will be given based on the following conditions.

Refund of Admission-Tuition Deposit

  • Refunds are available only if your student visa or study permit is denied.

  • Email registrar@twu.ca to request a refund.

  • Attach a copy of your visa/study permit rejection letter from the Canadian Embassy or Consulate.

  • Include your current mailing address in the email.

  • Students from Special Requirement Jurisdictions must complete Schedule “A” (attached with your offer).


Deferral of Admission-Tuition Deposit

  • You can defer your deposit to a future semester.

  • Maximum deferral time is 1 year.

  • You must notify TWU before the semester starts (the one you were originally admitted to).


Non-Refundable Deposits & Fees

  • Undergraduate Admission Deposit is non-refundable.

  • Housing Deposit Pre-Payment is non-refundable.

  • International Student Admission-Tuition Deposit ($9,990):

    • If you withdraw from TWU, any unused portion is forfeited.


Full Withdrawal from TWU

  • Choose one of the following reasons when submitting your withdrawal:

    • ❌ Study Permit/Visa Denied

    • ❌ Full Withdrawal (not visa-related)

  • Your account will be reviewed automatically.

  • Any eligible credit will be refunded.


Withdraw from a Course

  • You may be eligible for a tuition refund if you drop a course.

  • The amount refunded depends on the withdrawal date.
