Start with a Strong Foundation: Common First-Year Curriculum

In your first two semesters of the Civil Engineering Technology program, you’ll develop a strong foundation in core engineering and technology skills shared by both the Construction and Water Resources disciplines. Key areas of study include:

Choose Your Path: Construction or Water Resources

After completing the first two semesters, you will select your area of specialization: Construction or Water Resources. Due to limited seats, admission into each option is competitive and based on academic performance in the first year.

• 28 students will be accepted into the Construction specialization.

• 20 students will be accepted into the Water Resources specialization.

Specialize and Advance: Semester 3 to 5

Once accepted into your chosen option, your studies will focus on specialized skills and industry-relevant training in either Construction Engineering or Water Resources Technology.
