The Faculty of Education at Queen’s University offers a specialized Post-Graduate Certificate program designed for internationally trained teachers who are certified to teach outside of Canada. Permanent Residency Eligibility:
Graduates may qualify to apply for Permanent Residency under Express Entry’s category-based selection, provided they meet all requirements, such as:-
Sufficient Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points

Required language proficiency levels

A minimum of six months of full-time, continuous work experience (or equivalent part-time experience) in the past three years, in a single occupation listed on the Express Entry: Category-based selection – Canada.ca
This work experience may be obtained either in Canada or internationally.

- Academic Requirement: A minimum average or GPA equivalent to a "B" or 70% on the grading scheme of the issuing postsecondary institution. Completion of a 4-year Honours Undergraduate Degree plus a 2-year B.Ed. program OR a 5-year B.Ed. program. Possession of an active and valid teaching certificate or license A minimum of two years of teaching experience . Once the application is complete, one of the university's team member will schedule a meeting online. The decision will be issued after 1-2 weeks of interview.
