Prepare to Support Young Children’s Growth and Development
Our Early Childhood Education (ECE) program prepares students to work with infants and children up to 12 years old, supporting their early learning, social development, and transition into formal schooling. Upon graduation, you'll be ready to join multidisciplinary teams in childcare centers, preschools, and early learning programs across your community.
What You’ll Learn in the ECE Program
Through a blend of classroom instruction, hands-on learning, and real-world placements, you’ll gain the skills to:
-
Understand the stages of child development and how to support them
-
Use creative, play-based learning strategies to foster curiosity and growth
-
Design and manage early years learning environments that are inclusive and engaging
-
Build strong relationships with children, families, and care professionals
-
Promote emotional, cognitive, and physical development through age-appropriate practices
Hands-On Training: Children’s ECE Play Lab
Our on-campus Children’s ECE Play Lab gives you real-time experience in creating and managing a safe and stimulating learning environment. In this lab, you will:
-
Design and set up play-based learning spaces
-
Monitor child engagement and development
-
Adjust and improve the environment based on observed needs and feedback
This practical component helps bridge the gap between theory and practice in early childhood education.
Real-World Experience with Community Partnerships
As part of your training, you'll work directly with children through partnerships with local early learning centres. These placements allow you to:
-
Apply classroom knowledge in real childcare settings
-
Gain supervision and mentorship from experienced ECE professionals

Build confidence working with diverse children and families
-
Develop strong observation and planning skills

We understand that things can change. If you need to cancel your enrollment, here’s how refunds and deferrals work:
❌ Visa Refusal – Withdrawal Before or After Day 10 (Semester Not Completed)
-
If your visa is refused and you withdraw before or after Day 10, but you haven’t finished the semester:
-
A $500 CAD fee will be taken from your refund.
-
You must submit the original visa refusal letter and all required documents for the refund.
-
❌ Visa Refusal – Withdrawal After Completing the Semester
-
If you complete the semester and then your visa is refused:
-
No refund for that semester. The full tuition fee for that term is kept.
-
You still need to submit the original visa refusal letter and documents.
-
✅ Withdrawal or Refund Request Before Day 10 (Not Due to Visa Refusal)
-
If you withdraw before Day 10 for any reason other than a visa refusal:
-
A $1,860 CAD administrative fee will be deducted from your refund.
-
There are no exceptions to this fee.
-
❌ Withdrawal or Refund Request After Day 10 (Not Due to Visa Refusal)
-
If you withdraw after Day 10 for any reason other than a visa refusal:
-
You won’t get a refund, and the full semester fee will be kept.
-
✅ One-Time Deferral Policy (Due to Visa Delay)
-
If your visa is delayed, you can defer to the next intake without paying the extra $100 application fee.
