Program Requirements
  • Academic Requirement: Official transcripts must show successful completion of a four-year bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (or B average). Note: Three-year degrees are accepted only from NAAC A++ accredited universities.
  • ELP Requirement: TOEFL iBT: 100, IELTS: 6.5, Duolingo: 125+, Pearson PTE: 60 (No Band lower than Listening 50/Reading 55/Speaking 50/ Writing 65)
  • Special Requirement: Niagara university do not accept deposit more than $2000 CAD.
Refund Policy

Non-Refundable Deposit

  • The $500 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.


100% Refund – Full Tuition (Excluding Deposit)

You can get a full refund of your paid tuition fees (excluding the $500 deposit) if:

  • You submit a written request and complete the required withdrawal forms

  • You do this before the end of the second week of classes

 The exact withdrawal deadline will be shared by NUO at least 90 days before the semester starts.


Partial Refunds – Based on Days Attended

If you withdraw after the second week, you can still get a partial refund based on how many days you’ve attended:

Study Permit Denial – Important Note

  • Niagara University has no control over IRCC decisions or how long visas take.

  • It’s the student’s responsibility to follow all IRCC rules and make sure their visa application is complete and correct.

Refund & Deferral Rules

  • If you get your study permit and are admitted, you must follow NUO’s official withdrawal and refund procedures.

  • If you request a deferral, NUO may change the terms and conditions of your new admission offer.

  • Deferral Policy: Students are allowed only one admission deferral. Candidates who wish to defer further will need to re-apply for admission to the next available term.

  • If you don’t agree to the new terms, you can cancel and request a refund based on the same refund policy above.
